We need you!

Wanted - Seasonal staff for our iconic places

Have you got what it takes to help our visitors make the most of their day rain or shine on the Lizard? Do you know your Devils Frying Pan from your Lion's Den? Would you know what to do if the car park was full and the queues were getting longer?

Lizard Wireless Station - would you like to join our team?

Are you interested in our local Lizard heritage? Do you enjoy meeting and chatting to people? Might you have a few hours spare in the day per fortnight between Easter and October? If so then joining our friendly team of volunteers at the Lizard Wireless Station might be for you! We're currently looking for cheery folk to help us open this small museum to the public. Housed in a little wooden hut used by Marconi for experimental and commercial wireless transmissions, it is located in a fantastic spot on the cliffs overlooking Housel Bay and Lizard Lighthouse. Shifts are usually 3hrs per fortnight, by rota. You'll get travel expenses, an NT volunteer card giving free entry to NT sites, and lots of support from our team. Please get in touch to find out more!

Massive waves pounding the harbour walls January 2014
Cornwall has been witnessing an unprecedented number of storms, coupled with some of the highest tides of the year, over the past few weeks and, like many other settlements, harbours, cliffs and beaches around our coast, Mullion Cove has taken a severe battering.
