Are you
interested in our local Lizard heritage? Do you enjoy meeting and chatting to
people? Might you have a few hours spare in the day per fortnight between
Easter and October? If so then joining our friendly team of volunteers at the
Lizard Wireless Station might be for you! We're currently looking for cheery
folk to help us open this small museum to the public. Housed in a little wooden hut used by Marconi for experimental and commercial wireless transmissions, it is located in a fantastic spot on the cliffs overlooking Housel Bay and Lizard Lighthouse. Shifts are usually 3hrs
per fortnight, by rota. You'll get travel expenses, an NT volunteer card giving
free entry to NT sites, and lots of support from our team. Please get in touch to find out more!
